A Mem Fuses are a removable safety component designed to house the protective fuse within a consumer unit or distribution board. Its primary job is to provide a safe, insulated way to plug a fuse into the main electrical supply.

Fuse Types:

• HRC (High Rupturing Capacity): These holders take a ceramic "barrel" fuse. They are designed to handle high-energy faults safely by containing the "arc" inside a sand-filled cartridge.
• Cartridge: A standard cylindrical fuse used in modern-style carriers. It is much more accurate and safer than old wire-style fuses.
• Rewireable: The "old-school" style found in Wylex Standard boards. It requires a specific thickness of copper fuse wire to be wrapped around internal pins.
